Directions from South East:

Take your normal route to the M25 and head East towards the Dartford Crossing (you will need a £1 coin to pay the toll).
After the crossing continue North on the M25 to junction 28 where you take the A12 for Chelmsford.
Keep on A12 around Chelmsford till you see signs to Great Dunmow on the A130.
Once you are on the A130 keep on it over several roundabouts, until you see signposts for Braintree on the A131.
Take A131 around Braintree, and at High Garrett bear left onto A1017 towards Sible Hedingham and Haverhill.
Carry on A1017 through Sible Hedingham and past Pool Street, to Baythorne End.
At Baythorne End take a sharp right turn onto the A1092 to Clare and Long Melford.
Carry on the A1092 through the villages of Stoke by Clare and Clare.
The next village you come to is Cavendish. Go through the village and Embleton House is the very last driveway on the left as you leave Cavendish. We are well back off the road but you will see our sign at the entrance (see below).

Directions from South West:

Take your normal route to the M25 and head North.
At Junction 23 turn off for the A1 North.
Stay on the A1 until Junction 9 signposted Baldock.
Go through the town and turn left at a roundabout by a Tesco's store, then right at a mini roundabout, straight over traffic lights and you are now on A505 to Royston..
Stay on the A505 around Royston and continue towards Newmarket. This eventually brings you to the A11( having crossed the M11 at Duxford).
As you come onto the A11 keep left, and after a few hundred yards come off onto the A1307 (Cambridge and Haverhill), towards Haverhill.
Proceed to Haverhill on this road, but as you approach the first roundabout keep right on the A1017 to Halstead.
Stay on this road over many small roundabouts, and then a couple of small villages until you come to Baythorne End.
At Baythorne End take a sharp left hand turn onto the A1092 to Clare and Long Melford.
Carry on the A1092 through the villages of Stoke by Clare and Clare.
The next village you come to is Cavendish. Go through the village and Embleton House is the very last driveway on the left as you leave Cavendish.We are well back off the road but you will see our sign at the entrance (see left).

Directions from the North:

Take your normal route to join the M6 heading South.
Just before the M6 joins the M1 take the A14 South.
Go down A14 to where it splits into the A14 and the M11, just before Cambridge.
Take the M11 down to junction 10 and take the A505 for Newmarket.
Stay on A505 until it joins A11, then stay in the left lane to exit almost immediately at Fourwentways on the A1307 for Haverhill.
Proceed to Haverhill on A1307, but as you approach the first roundabout keep right on the A1017 to Halstead.
Stay on this road going over several small roundabouts, until you come to Baythorne End, where on a sharp bend you turn left on to the A1092 sign posted Clare and Long Melford.
Cavendish is on this road about 3 miles after you have gone through Stoke by Clare and Clare.
Come right through the village and we are the last house on the left. We are well back off the road but you will see our sign at the entrance (see left).
